Daam Galvanizing
was started by I.D. Daam specializing in hot dip galvanizing
small steel fabrications. The original premise was
a small shed rented from Tartan Chemicals, Edmonton.

A small
plant was built on the same premises.

| 1959 |
The plant was
moved to property purchased at 8409 - 50th Street, Edmonton.

| 1962 |
A new larger facility was built on the same premises
which was expanded and modernized in 1978. |
| 1974 |
Dolf Daam, P.Eng. and Paul Daam, MBA took over the active
operation of the business. |
| 1979 |
The operation was moved to 9390 - 48 Street, Edmonton.

| 1985 |
Completely rebuilt the"Pickle Line" and modernized
the entire materials handling system. |
| 1993 |
Dolf Daam, P.Eng. bought all the Company's shares.

| 1997 |
Installed a 12.6m x 1.0m x 1.9m galvanizing kettle.

| 1998 |
Employee Share Ownership Plan commenced. |
| 2000 |
Expanded pickle
line pit and added 2 - 10' deep acid tanks and second caustic
tank.

Dolf Daam
retires and sells company to a group of four long-term employees.
Darcy Pretula, Dale Butterworth, Ian Stevens, and Kamal
Elzein.

| 2008 |
Daam Galvanizing
Co. Ltd. acquires a controlling interest in Provincial Galvanizing
Ltd. Saskatoon, SK
Installed a 12.6m
x 1.0m x 2.4m galvanizing kettle complete with state of
the art furnace. |
