GalvTrak
is a custom designed software program originally designed for managing
work orders but has evolved to include a Purchase Order module and
an Inspection Report module.
Built on a MS Access 2003
platform, Galvtrak can be customized to meet each Galvanizers specific
requirements.
Work Order Management
- Create a Work Order by entering customer information, and material
using preassigned user defined product codes
- Add extra operation product codes, shipping Information, special
instructions
- Shared database allows any in-house user to query job status,
estimated completion dates, ship dates, etc.
- Ship work orders when complete with a simple click of the mouse
Production Data
- Enter racking and finishing labour along with weights.
Weights are automatically transferred to customer work order.
Quality Assurance
- Enter thickness measurements and visual test results into user
friendly form
- Inspection Reports are linked to Customewr Work Order for easy
retrieval

extends line items and adds applicable taxes.
- Export invoices electronically to Accounting Software to
avoid double entry.
Security
- Set custom security settings for each user.
- Running program requires username and password
- Receiving, Shipping, and Pricing is tagged with username for
easy follow-up
Although specifically
written for Daam Galvanizing this program can be easily modified
by anyone with MS Access 2003 and Visual Basic Programming expertise
to be compatible with your existing accounting software.
